Autonomy in connectedness
"The central value in the partnership that is Woonzorggroep GVO is ‘autonomy in connectedness’. This means that we are connected as organisations, even though the 10 care homes make their own decisions. This allows them to take into account the local context and ‘culture’ of their surroundings. GVO provides central control and support in the areas of finance, care, strategy, HR, buildings, technology, IT and communication. Therefore, we are always connected.
Priva systems: standard in new buildings
"To make this connectedness even stronger, we have been renewing and expanding our heritage for about ten years. We were looking for a solution to easily monitor the management of the technical installations in terms of maintenance and parameters. We found this solution in Priva's management systems. In most projects, with new construction, a Priva control system was immediately built in on a local server, accessible via a VPN."
Challenge: all data local
"Running Priva technology on local servers was a challenge for us despite all the great functionalities. It was a challenge to easily monitor and adjust the data disclosure, follow-up of alarms and adjustments to the control from a distance."
The Solution: Priva Digital Services
"After a thorough analysis, we made the decision to put all Priva systems in the cloud on Priva Digital Services, connecting the houses via a cloud connector. Together with Priva Belgium and partner Vandewalle, we first set up a pilot project in one of the houses. After a positive evaluation of the pilot project, and adjusting some minor issues, the same configuration was rolled out across the rest of the residential care homes."
